blog # 4 "catw practice 1"

Education in citizenship is a passage about Illinois's House passing a bill that would allow young people who are in the u.s. illegally to pay in state tuition rates at Illinois colleges and universities. I "disagree" with the Chicago tribune editorial.

I believe what i believe because no one wants to see the concept of citizenship bent, folded, spindled or mutilated. although things get troubling meaning it takes away rights of knowing that people who are citizens don't matter. A better way to example your entitled to know that you being a citizen of state benefits you not a illegal citizen.

How can you have no legal right to be present in the country but be entitled to a very expensive and valuable benefit of citizen which seems absurd because overall they are illegal meaning there are others who work hard to be citizen but with this being pass you don't even need to try. also to support if you went to other states they would agree that idea don't make them satisfied.

Citizens of state should be allowed whatever but to pass bill on tuition for illegal citizens is very different in terms of choices. This makes you think is everything offered to you by state a privledge or just something to talk about.

Response to "hype"

Advertisement is a mental pollutant that effect people all over. The simplest commercial can pollute your brain without you knowing. In the article by kalle lasn named "hype" she shows statistic that commercial can flood your brain at the rate of about three thousand marketing messages per day. In the current day and time advertisement has grown vastly an will continue to grow. There is no where you can go and not seeing some type of advertisement.

The reason advertisement pollute the brain is because they are everywhere for example in early 1800 or 1900 the town official would post a paper for when it was time for the polls in the city square. Another example when i was young Mc Donald's commercial i use love the color red, so anything i see red on t.v. I would focus on it but what standed out the most was the signature solgan that they sing on t.v. commercial just like kalle lasn used in passage for the kids signing oscar meyer wiener song. which shows direct connection of how it pollutes the brain.

The season ad's have grown to being everywhere is due to techinology and how ad's are on everything. For example the company videocarte installed screens in supermarket carts or if you go to supermarket everything is touchscreen meaning registers, sale items and all. In the old time we had like some typerider type registers and paper sign advertisement that relate to pollution now because you use to have to go out to see advertisement.

Overall pollution of commercial ad's are growing and growingan for the youth this will be there form of knowing whats hot or that catchy new song that will stick with them for ever. I know we all wish things would change but if they didnt wat would be the future.

summary of "Allegory of the Cave"

Allegory of the cave is about good and bad of our nature. Socrates explain the interaction of men working in a underground den and the various reason why. Socrates explains the objects the men hold and how they see there shadow. Mainly he explain how they interact in the den from the sounds to there movement. Another topic he speaks on is how prisoner interact once they see sunlight and are released. Last he describes the cave prisoners are in meaning if they are confused or not.

Summary of "Hype"

The main focus of the passage is how commercial pollute the brain. It focuses on how commercial are played all the time and the effect it has. Commercials  pollute people so much that they don't even realize what occurs because it just happens. The more tradition way of advertisement isn't even use as they were and now advertisement is everywhere you can look. When your parents grew up it was most likely more classical music now a days you will see a child sing the state farm commercial.

Blog 1 "hype"

The Passage present the idea of what or how advertisement effects economy commercial are played all day and night starting from the time you wake to when you fall asleep .on a average day its a breakdown on commercial shown from display ad,to radio commercial . ad's have change over years meaning the usual spots wear ad's will be, its not there anymore because corporate people feel ad should be where ever your eyes look. i know that corporate decision is best fit for economy today by the way ad are posted everywhere such as ATM machine or gas station just to name a couple , because imagery is the biggest thing it relates to your five sense for example you wouldnt know mc donalds  was m donalds if you didnt see the big m or the unique colors of red, yellow and white which is a form of advertisement for the franchise. the reason i believe and support what i say because now a days people are on there phones all the time and ad,s
